| Once again Tottenham is under particular pressure, as Spurs must win this game after their 0-1 defeat in the first leg. According to the bookies the hosts are firm favourites to win the rematch. Tottenham have won only two of their last six competitive matches and are therefore anything but in great shape. Things have been going much better for the Dutch side recently, with only one defeat in their last nine matches, their form has been on a marked upward trend in recent weeks. The hosts have had an extremely poor season so far and simply can't find their way back on track. Ange Postecoglou's team has already been eliminated from both cup competitions and is unlikely to make much of a splash in the Premier League either. The same could be true in the Europa League, as Spurs' defeat in the first leg means they now have their backs against the wall. The return leg is therefore most important game of the season as if the hosts can't reverse the result the club will miss out on European competition next season. Maarten Martens' team season so far is good. The team also manage to qyalify for the final in the domestic cup and has also achieved decent results in the Eredivisie. |
